Fun Floating Ladies

A painting I did live at "Make it Funky" music and arts festival hosted by the Hive gallery and Studios. The funky music inspired me to paint some funky ladies!

photoshop brushes

These are absent minded doodles created while I was testing different photoshop brushes for a work related project. I think they're kind of fun. I've been working at Warner Brothers mainly as a designer for MAD but I've been doing a little storyboarding and animation as well. Its been fun! I'm not going to explain this one : )

Little things

I have a lot of new stuff to post but I've been busy! Here are a couple little things in the meantime...

March Sketches!

cute kids and demon ladies

I designed the little girl for a women who's looking to publish a childrens book and the rest is from my sketchbook... My default drawings always seem to be cute but slightly deranged naked women. I think drawing them with babies adds a nice touch.

Figure Paintings

These are some of the figure paintings I did in Marjan Hormozi's class at CalArts last year. They were done in oils, I think one or two of them in acrylics.

I heart cartoons

Its February and I actually miss sitting in a dark cube animating my spring away! Really, I think thats why I keep coming up with film ideas, the last few posts have all been quick designs to go with lots of writing.
Heres some stuff to look at:

A walk through Los Feliz

Hello! These are some characters I've been playing around with who make frequent appearances in my sketch book. I've been trying to draw uglier characters and play around with different styles. A lot of these are inspired by some of the people walking around in my neighborhood. The 1st one is a little one page comic.

January sketches

Some more quick little idea sketches. Kids, space people, old ladies, haunted house...
